Meet Our Cast
Fatima-Zahra Amr (Tracy)
Originally from Casablanca, Morocco. Fatima grew up in Brooklyn and is currently working as Clinician at a NYC public school in the Bronx. NYC credits include: Other Planet Hearts (Mother, The Rose, Turkish Astronomer), Where The Mountain Meets the Moon (Magistrate, King, Green Tiger), Telling the Bees (Puppeteer), Dust (Ensemble), Dispersal: A Gentrification Story (Ensemble), Einstein's Dreams (Ensemble), Machinal (Helen Jones).

Shah Motia (Jesse)
Shah has performed for La MaMa, The Brick, and Theater for the New City. Most recently, Playwrights Horizons invited Shah to participate in a staged reading of Sanaz Toosi’s newest work, The Persians. He can be seen in The Game, a short film for which he shares the “Best Ensemble” award from the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival. Shah graduated from the Terry Knickerbocker Studio conservatory in 2019.

Colleen Britt (Director, Leigh Ann)
Colleen Britt is an NYC-based freelance director, actress and teaching artist. Recent NYC directing credits include: Top Girls and The Resolute: All Hands In (The Hewitt School); Utah, Untouched and The Resolute (Wyoming Theater Festival). Colleen has worked on a number of new works at the 2006, 2009 and 2016 New York International Fringe Festival. As a teaching artist colleen has taught at BMCC, City College and NYFA. Colleen leads the drama program at the Hewitt School, and is an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. BFA - Musical Theatre, University of Florida. He has a horrible jump-shot, and his height is 5'8 even though he tells everyone he's 5'9. She is a member of The Gadflyz and has assisted John Christopher Jones on his translations of The Cherry Orchard and A Month in the Country for Classic Stage Company. Her plays have been produced for the 2016 New York International Fringe Festival (Svetlyachki) and presented at Dixon Place (Other Planet Hearts).

Selected credits include assistant director with Lonny Price on Sweeney Todd (starring Emma Thompson) which aired on PBS (Emmy for Outstanding Special Class Program), and Audience Participation, winner of Best Production at the Manhattan Rep One-Act Competition. Currently, Jim is the VP of Development for Ish Entertainment where he produces new non-fiction formats, comedies, and documentaries. Recently Jim was an in-house producer, director, and writer for Comedy Central where he launched over a dozen new shows and formats, including the webby-award winner Your Worst Fears Confirmed w/ The Tonight Show’s Natasha Vaynblat. Jim was also a producer for over 100 episodes The Opposition with Jordan Klepper and its spin-off Klepper. Jim’s short film, Zero Issue was the winner of Toronto Geekfest’s “Best Mockumentary” and NY International Film Festival’s “Best Comedy.” Jim is also a professor of directing at The Actors Studio Drama School and an alumni of Boston College and ASDS.

Gabrielle's plays include: The Resolute: All Hands In (workshop production at the Hewitt School in NYC), Alcestis (University of Georgia mainstage), The Resolute (Wyoming Theater Festival, Jane Chambers award finalist), The Bride Project (Love Me Gender Festival, Vienna), Showing (Ingram New Works Lab), Telling the Bees: The Just Now (Winner, Georgia Theatre Conference One-Act Play Competition), and Ghost Notes (North Carolina New Play Prize). Gabrielle's plays have been developed through the Actors Studio Playwright-Directors Workshop, Annoyance Theater, as well as in residencies throughout the country. She is a founding member and resident playwright for Hidden Well Theatre while also pursuing her PhD at the University of Georgia, researching experimental theatre and the performance of parenthood. Associate member - Dramatists Guild. MFA Playwriting - Actors Studio Drama School, NYC.
